David Hussman
David Hussman owns and leads DevJam, coaching and producing products with companies of all sizes around the world. His coaching style is non-dogmatic, challenging and pragmatic. David’s maps tools to contextual needs in a way that seeds self-discovery and avoids the expert trap of simply telling people what they “should do". David works within and across each project communities, pairing on coding and testing work, design and redesigning products, and helping leadership teams pragmatically introduce lasting agility that fosters innovation and competitive advantage. When David is not coaching or teaching, he is speaking at conferences around the world and publishing to a variety of sources. His newest publication is Cutting an Agile Groove, a series of instructional videos that cover topics such as coaching, product design and planning to learn. David was given the 2009 Gordon Pask Award for his coaching contributions to the Agile Community at large.
Diana Larsen
Diana Larsen sparks the creation of workplaces where productive teams display resilience in times of change and focus on frequent delivery of high value software their customers want and use. Drawing on fifteen+ years of experience working with technical professionals, Diana takes a pragmatic approach to consulting with leaders and teams to promote work process designs where innovation, inspiration, and imagination flourish.
Diana leads system-wide groups in collaborative thinking and planning, as well as guiding teams through project kick-offs, chartering and retrospectives. She coaches managers and leaders on their role in a changing workplace and presents workshops on agile adoption, self-organizing team development, team leadership and management, organizational change, and leading retrospectives.
Current officer and former (2007-2010) chair of the Agile Alliance Board of Directors Diana co-authored Agile Retrospectives: Making Good Teams Great! and posts at her blog, "Partnerships & Possibilities" http://www.futureworksconsulting.com/blog. Diana discovers solutions and possibilities where others find only barriers and obstacles.
Valerie Morris
Valerie is a ScrumMaster and Agile coach. With over 20 years of experience in software development as an analyst and project manager, she has depth of experience in the telecommunications and financial services industries. She is passionate about collaborating with clients and helping them achieve their goals.
As a change agent, Valerie is skilled in helping large companies adopt Agile and scale it throughout the enterprise. She is certified as both a Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) and Project Management Professional (PMP), and also holds Six Sigma Green Belt. Valerie has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
Scott Dunn
Scott Dunn is an Agile Coach with BigVisible. He is a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) and ScrumMaster (CSM) with more than 15 years of experience in management, project management (PMP), engagement management, and software development (MCSD).
Scott has experience in social media, systems integration, mortgage banking, healthcare, entertainment, defense, staffing, e-commerce, and public sector while working with Fortune 500, Inc 500, and start-up companies. He has helped coach and train dozens of organizations transitioning to an agile approach using Scrum. Scott is also the founder of the Orange County APLN.
Michael DePaoli
Michael DePaoli is an experienced agile / lean coach and practitioner who is passionate about working with organizations and individual teams to help them predictably deliver high-value, high-quality software. Michael’s journey into “agile” began organically in 1995 (before the term agile was coined). He combined what are now referred to as agile planning and execution values, principles and practices with object oriented design principles in common-sense approaches to empower cross-functional teams under his leadership to predictably deliver value. During the last seven years of his career Michael has been involved with planning and executing agile / lean transformations in organizations and leading his teams to produce award winning software.
Over his 26 years in IT, Michael’s experienced has been earned through serving in many different traditional roles in highly respected companies. The roles have included analyst, software engineer, quality engineer, development manager, project manager, Director of Engineering, VP of R&D, CTO and Consultant in companies, such as American Express, Sprint, Deloitte Consulting, Sapient, Knowledgepoint, Adobe Systems, AOL, NetApp and VersionOne.
Michael works as an agile / lean coach and product consultant with the VersionOne services group. He is energized by working with people at all organizational levels to help make agile and lean practices relevant and effective. Michael typically does consulting, training, and coaching with several different groups each month.
