Session Title: Agle: Real Options in an Uncertain World

The exponential rate of technological change has resulted in decreasing product lifecycles and has limited our ability to adequately predict expected market return.  With lower confidence in a relatively long return horizon, our traditional approach to business cases leaves much to be desired.  This session will discuss how by applying Agile Real Options, we can start to effectively address this issue both at the project and portfolio level.  In addition, we will walk through a case that tangible demonstrates the benefits of Agile vs. waterfall through reduced risk, reduced cash investment, and increase internal rate of return.
